Our new puppy arrived safe and sound last Wednesday. Millie, now Weazer is a beaut. She was already house trained and is such a happy little girl fitting in with our older dog amazingly. She loves people and seems super socialized. We would highly recommend the Parade process to anyone looking for a new four legged family member.

While the communication was very good and we were kept informed on the arrival date of Lincoln, the state of the puppy when he arrived was very, very poor. It was 7pm on Sunday night, Lincoln was damp from what the driver said was a bath to rinse of some excrement. When we went to give him a bath we saw that he had bloody sores on both his back legs and his bum was pussy and bleeding. We took him to the vet the next day, and he had to have his hind legs and bum shaved in order to treat the sores. This appointment was a well puppy check that ended up costing $400.00. The assessment of the vet was that the sores were caused by continual exposure to urine and feces in the travel crate, which was not covered because when we called to active our "free" month of pet insurance through Met Life, the sales person persuaded us to bypass the free 30 days and go right to a full policy, which left us with no coverage for a week, so the $400.00 was not covered. Very disappointing.
