Pawrade was great until they weren’t. It’s too big of a company and the liaison you’re assigned is hardly ever available when you need them to be. You’ll always be calling their 1(800) number in order to talk to anyone. The first question they’ll ask you after purchasing your dog is “when do you want to pick up your puppy?” Don’t fall for the trap. Obviously any reasonable person would want to pick up next day or ASAP. A more realistic timeframe from purchase to pickup should be a minimum of two weeks, so as to not get buyers hopes up. Our dog came down with giardia which delayed everything by a week or so. Not to mention weekends are a wash as well since nobody replies till Monday. I also had to reach out on my own to get updates as the updates provided by Pawrade were few and far between and seemed more like clickbait. They would get more stars if they’d actually answer back in a timely manner and if they provided useful timelines and expectations. Pawrade is a big middle man.

We love our puppy, but frankly, we wouldn't promote Pawrade to others. Prior to making the decision to move forward, our questions were immediately and completely answered, but after that, it felt like we were just another number and our only purpose was to make money for Pawrade. Our questions were rarely answered and instead we received single sentence answers, answers that seemed to be scripted and didn't actually answer our questions, and a lack of care for our concerns. I mentioned this when I was able to talk with someone on the phone and my concerns were clearly dismissed and not given due consideration. I truly considered more than once exiting the arrangement and even talked with a lawyer to see what our options were.

The people at Pawrade were extremely helpful and informative. They kept me aware of everything that was occurring and notifying me of what was needed from me. The delivery was also easy and efficient. We opted to have the puppy travel by truck with caretakers present at all times- due to the small size of our puppy. The one reservation I had was not being able to communicate directly with the breeder? This caught me off guard and was certainly unsettling. I feel a responsible dog owner would find it essential to communicate with, and get to know, the breeder- this was not allowed. I would also like to see pictures of the parents and know their history/health as well. Our puppy is perfect and beautiful, but I will choose a service that allows direct communication with the breeder in the future. If these things do not concern you I would recommend Pawrade, as the rest of the experience was absolutely wonderful.
