We had a great experience with Pawrade. The Puppy Concierge a quickly responded to all of my questions and requests. Choosing to get a puppy is exciting yet some what stressful and they walked us through the process patiently and kindly.

Pawrade was easy to communicate with and finally got my dog to me, which was not easy. The complaints I have are with the breeder. I realize now I should have asked for a doctor's certificate on the health of the dog before I signed Pawrade's contract. At the very end, practically the day before he was to come to me, I was advised that he had two medical problems which would require over $1,000 in vet bills to correct. the puppy was 5 1/2 months old, hard to believe ha had had no vet checkups during that time to alert them to these issues He came with few instructions, a tiny plastic bag of food and no "personal" information to understand his mannerisms and personality. There was no question about not taking him, the contract is ironclad. So, beware and be smart and ask the right questions before you sign.

Ok so full disclosure. I never write reviews...like ever. I have to make an exception for Pawrade though. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had getting a new pet. I'll admit that I was skeptical at first. I've never bought a dog without meeting them first. But there's always a first for everything I suppose. I have always wanted a golden retriever. There's just something about the breed that I love. So after getting scammed on Facebook I did some research and found Pawrade. I found a puppy I liked so I sent them a message to ask about him. They were quick to message back and seemed happy to answer all of my questions. After I purchased my puppy they constantly kept me informed about the status of the process. Each message was sent personally by a real person and not some computer generated response. I was surprised when some of them gave me their cell phone numbers if I needed to get ahold of them after hours. They took care of everything. 100% will use them again.

We have adopted 2 very healthy shih tzu puppies from Pawrade over the last couple of years and have been very pleased with the quality of our pets. They cost more through them but the health guarantee for 3 years and many other perks that come with are worth it. We recommend them highly.

Overall things went well and we are satisfied. After the Pet Pay portion is completed there seems to be a lack of communication. especially there is travel for pickup involved. Once you have paid thousands there should be more timely responses to customer questions. For those like us these are lifelong commitments to a being totally reliant on us for their lively hood. With the world wide web being that is today trust is not always guaranteed. We thank you for your help! Ron

I think the process is demanding of the new owner and feels somewhat of a system working in conjunction with the pet insurance to force you into additional insurance. That being said, Poppy (Gianna) is a beautiful little puppy and we love her very much.
