Overall was a decent experience...never bought a puppy out of state. Reason for my review rating is communication was EXCELLENT when I was first looking for a puppy.....communication after I paid was quite a bit different and at times frustrating....by the last 2 days communication improved and we are happy with the puppy so far....I would recommend other tonuse the site but I would certainly give them tips to make the experience less stressful

Process was super simple and the information given was great. My puppy arrived with a yeast in his ears and needs medication right off the bat. He showed up day 1 itching his ear despite everything on the paperwork showing he passed all ear tests. Other than that, everything else was great and everyone I dealt with was very friendly.

While the customer support during the process was good and my messages were answered, the overall experience was very poor and the high cost does not match the level of service. My puppy arrived with a parasite and has been quite ill for over a week while I have also spent close to $1,000 for treatment. The guarantee only covered $60. Additionally the microchip is not ISO certified so I will need to get a new one, and the 1 month insurance is void in New York. A lot of mis-advertised information. The pup itself is adorable though.

My initial reaction to working with Pawrade was very positive. Things kind of went downhill from there. I purchased a beagle pup and arranged to have it delivered. That was until I received a phone call from Pawrade telling me the pre delivery vet examination cleared the dog and there were no apparent complications with the hernia surgery the dog had earlier. Up until this point, no one had ever mentioned to me nor was it indicated in the pup's listing that the dog had had a hernia. With this last minute news, I decided to select a different beagle puppy and arranged to have it delivered. Things proceeded OK however, I was concerned about the pre travel vet check on this puppy so I requested a PDF copy of the vet's report to be emailed to me. I was told by a Pawrade rep that I would get a copy of the vet report when the dog was delivered. I indicated I was not content waiting until then to see the report considering what had happened with the previous pup I had selected. Part 1.

So happy with our new fur baby! Fairly easy process! There was some slight confusion with the transporters, but worked out well! Hard to schedule with our vet for the required 72hours. Very happy with our new girl!

If this was just based on the puppy it would be five stars. But it includes the customer service and communication from Pawrade which would be one star. So you are getting the average of 3 stars. Communication was robust up until the point of payment. After payment was made it was like pulling teeth to get answers. Messages had significant delays in getting replies and the replies given were vague copy and pasted generic responses. I was told that final clearance would be given by a vet and that I would be connected with the breeder on a Friday…on Sunday I’m trying to get ahold of them because no one followed through to make sure I had the info and was all set to travel. Given that I had to fly across country, which was totally fine, the lack of proactive communication was very frustrating. Poor communication and poor customer service are not acceptable given the significant price mark up. After I checked the direct breeder website, it was clear the prices were inflated by 300%+.

Love Walter and the process was acceptable. Unfortunately Walter arrived with Bronchitis and a parasite. We took him to the Vet before his scheduled appointment as required by Pawrade. His bronchitis has gotten better but he is still on medications for both illnesses.
