Pros - good communication upon making initial contact / puppy interest and responsiveness for initial questions such as puppy location and parents, ease of finding a puppy and peace of mind that the breeders have already been vetted, incredibly helpful puppy guide which helped us to prepare for Henley's arrival, also appreciated the concierge call giving reminders about pet insurance and other tips for pickup day Cons - final payment was requested 8 weeks before my scheduled puppy pick up date, I was told I would receive breeder contact details as soon as vet paperwork was in; when I didn't receive a call even the day prior to pickup, I called the pickup location myself to arrange pickup time. After I was already home with the puppy (after 5 hours of driving there and back) I received the breeder contact details "to coordinate pickup", which was clearly too late. Henley stunk terribly when we got her and was in desperate need of a bath. Was not expecting that given the cost.

Some specific observations. 1. No 1 point of contact. Seemed to be a team but they were not always on the same page. 2. Team uses a quasi-email/messaging system but with no standard formatting at all; lots of messaging app abbreviations. Not appropriate for Business Communications! For instance: No standard signature block at end identifying sender and contact information. This caused communication confusion: - Sometimes contact info was imbedded in the body of the message. Had to go search for it in the text. - One time, the breeder’s contact information was next to the sender’s name like in a signature block. I called the sender but got the breeder. - one message said breeder’s contact info was in attachment but it was at end of message. No attachment. We opted to pickup puppy. We traveled to where Pawrade said: Dalton, AK. However, on the day of pickup, the breeder revealed he was in Harrison, AK. about 150 miles away. Took 3 hrs last minute drive to get there.

I felt very safe on your webb site everyone I talked to was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend you very highly. The only thing that needs changed is on the delivery for a puppy to ride four days is too much Cooper has some anxiety over it
